Hourly temperature markets
Each contract pays one dollar if the temperature at the station is above its strike as of the listed time. The map carries the latest temperature each station has reported.

Contract Details
- The hour runs from just after one hour before the listed time to the listed time. A report exactly one
hour before is excluded, a report exactly at the listed time is included.
- The last report inside that hour settles the contract.
- Trading stops at the listed time. The contract is not subject to early resolution.
- Settlement reads Weather Underground’s Daily Observations table for the station, with the National
Weather Service time series viewer as the backup source.
- Readings here come from the aviation weather feed, the same station reports read through a different
publisher, rounded to a whole degree half up before they are compared with a strike.
- Prices are the exchange’s own. Every resting order is a bid to buy Yes or a bid to buy No, so the
columns are the Yes bid and the No bid.
